Due to losing my job and not knowing where to turn I fell into an adiction to drugs and alcohol, lost my family and I found myself living on the streets of Orlando, FL, having burned every bridge back (I thought).
I was walking by Faith United one day and seeing alot of activity, I went inside. I have never been the same since. Dr. Gordon helped me get cleaned up and get my life back. I now attend church every time the doors are open and am working with the outreach center on a handyman crew helping homeowners in our community with everything from leaky faucets to repairing cracked driveways, painting their house both inside and out, yard work and almost anything else they need done. We are able to give these homeowners a good job at a very good price and I have a rewarding job every day. I can see a future.
